1787 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left VF30 PCGS. M. 37.3-i, R.3. Misattributed by PCGS as an AUCIORI variety. This chocolate-brown example is generally pleasing, despite a couple of faded scratches on each side and a glimpse of charcoal patina at 3 o'clock on the reverse. Unevenly struck, most of the piece is bold, however, the lower obverse and upper reverse are somewhat softly defined. Minor rim dings are noted at 6 o'clock. Listed on page 60 of the 2006 Guide Book.
