1853 25c Arrows and Rays Obverse Cud Die Break PCGS VF30

An amazing piece for both its rariety and its Pedigree (Did we mention that this coin was once part of the 1853 Cabinet)

PCGS Certified as a VF30 Mint Error, a medium grey silver piece, somewhat deeper on the right obverse field and close to the peripheral devices.  Hints or traces of a pale blue iridescence are also noted.  A large cud die break positioned prominently below the date makes this such a visually interesting variety.
