2000 1C Lincoln Cent--Deep Capped Die Strike--MS65 Red PCGS. This Cent adhered to the reverse die after the initial, normal strike. It then preceded to strike an unknown (but considerable) quantity of brockage cents (not included in this lot). The force of the strikes forced the edge of the coin to wrap further and further across the reverse die. The zinc interior is scattered about the surfaces, as made. A beautifully preserved and imposing mint error for the advanced collector! Note a similiar 1998 1c sold for well over $1,000 at auction last year!
