After Reading the article published by Coin World, and knowing the work ethic of David, I am truly saddened by his departure...
Good Luck towards the future Dave...
As Mint Director, Dave Ryder ran an organization of almost 1,700 people who are employed with responsibilities ranging from securing the assets entrusted to the Mint, to the design, manufacturing, and distribution of circulating, precious metal and collectible coins, and national medals. New Hampshire Show and then a drive to NJ show this week...
Another round of shows this weekend saw us make the 250 mile journey to Manchester New Hampshire for a large regional show.... but this past weekend say 4 other big shows taking place as well Denver, Long Beach CA, Charlotte, and Chicago.. since we love being on the road so much we then traveled back and set up at the monthly Parsippany NJ show held at the PAL center. I would love to say that our business was brisk selling many items but the downside is that we are just unable to buy back new coins to offer...I would say that at the New Hampshire show we were able to purchase 5 wonderful exciting pieces 2 have been posted on our website in the Eagle Gold Section and the other 3 are making their way to CAC for green ...
WHAT No Facebook No Instagram
Today we felt like it was the end of the world as Facebook was offline for about 6 hours.... Generally speaking we receive quite a bit of sales from Instagram, Facebook and related sites.... for us today was like a snow day as we sent staff home due to the outage.... well it was a much needed break after this past weekend attending two of the many shows that were held around the country....see our other blog report!
